The opening of the HV C/F range in August went very well.

It was well attended and the opening ceremony performed by the Chairman of the 'South Derbyshire District Council' ,Councillor Mick Bale, who was accompanied by his wife, went to plan.

In a letter, after the event, Councillor Bale complimented the club on their attitude to and care of their junior members.

Other activities included a stand by 'BASC'. Demonstrations by our precision and practical shooters and an event involving airguns, supervised by Kathy Hill, proved very popular with the visiting juniors.

Quite a lot of people, attending on the day, came back and actually joined the club.

We will probably organise something similar during 2008 ,so keep watching this website for details.
